Mission


As the Association for administrative and professional staff at Simon Fraser University, APSA works to promote and advance the interests of our members by:

  • Representing them in negotiations with regard to the terms and conditions of their employment and provides support with regards to grievances, arbitration and mediations,

  • Promoting professionalism, excellence and collegiality,

  • Encouraging members' professional and career development,

  • Advising them on matters of concern,

  • Doing all such things as may be necessary or conducive to their attainment of these purposes,

  • Representing them to the public, governments, news media and other educational institutions.
