Glossary

of Legal & Policy Document Types

Agreement
A document written between parties to cooperatively work together to meet an agreed upon objective.

Basic Agreement
Establishes formal procedures for determining compensation matters and administrative/professional personnel policies.  

Memorandum of Agreement
A written document that contains the terms of negotiated settlement between SFU and the APSA negotiating Committee.

Bylaws
The rules adopted by our Association in order to regulate and govern our internal affairs and activities.

Policy
The AD 10 Policies set out the responsibilities, rights, and terms and conditions of employment for APSA members.
